Just to let everyone know, I am NOT an Obama fan. His weak platform of ‘Hope and Change’, flip flopping statements, associations with negative individuals / organizations and teleprompter speeches have been quite unimpressive to this Behavior Analyst.
I have to say though, it has been quite refreshing these past few days after Governor Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s VP running mate. The Main Stream Media has actually begun to cover this presidential race more fairly or at least I hope.
The constant biased news coverage about Obama was getting ridiculous. It was quite unfair to Hillary Clinton. http://www.cmpa.com/Studies/Election08/07_12_21_Election_Study.pdf
Even recently, Obama has been receiving the media frenzy more so than John McCain. According to the online Tyndall Report, Obama received more than twice as much nightly news network coverage as McCain during the last month and a half. Obama got 166 minutes of news coverage compared to 67 minutes for McCain

So I am looking forward to seeing how these numbers will change with Palin added to the political mix.
Am I voting for John McCain because he chose Sarah Palin ? No, I just will not vote for Obama. My vote goes to the experienced one, John McCain. Though I am excited that McCain did choose Sarah. I think it was a very smart move. It shows that the Republican party respects and values women in government. Unlike how the Democratic party allowed Hillary Clinton to be bashed so unfairly.
I find it quite interesting too that Sarah Palin has a cute 4 month old baby boy named Trig with Down Syndrome. I wonder what Sarah can bring to the White House for people with disabilities and their families. I hope more awareness and good changes for increased supports will occur.
FYI: Upon the birth of their son, the Palin family issued a statement that read: “Trig is beautiful and already adored by us. We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed.”

So I say this;
