As a Behavior Analyst, I tend to analyze lots of stuff, even while I am watching the talk show ‘ The View’.
I’ve been watching ‘The View’ more often since Whoopi Goldberg has taken over the lead chair from Rosie O’Donnell. Whoopi has brought more balance, class , intelligence, lightness and better manners to the show.
Anyway, Whoopi was talking about this picture today on the show.

It caught my attention. How inappropriate and disrespectful of Mr Obama. Is he not a civil and mature person? Hillary Clinton approached him and Senator Ted Kennedy. Mr Obama rudely turns away.
Look at Mr Obama’s face and turning his back- clear body language of avoidance ,
Look at Hillary Clinton’s body language- she is being open, physically leaning in, looking towards both Mr Obama and Kennedy with a smile.
I truly believe that this picture exhibiting the inappropriate actions by Mr Obama provides us more info about his character. Very disrespectful Mr Obama.
I give Hillary Clinton much credit. The media has been bashing her very unfairly and making Mr Obama basically out to be a ‘pretty boy’.
Though in actuality, in this picture, you can see who is truly the strong, mature and respectful presidential candidate. It is obviously NOT Mr Obama.
Pictures capture actions which are behaviors that can provide some info in predicting future behaviors.
Update: This video clip is dedicated to the one who assumes that another assumes who should not have assumed in the first place.

I can see both sides of it. I agree with you on one hand, but on the other, I understand his ICK quotient.

Part of me wants to say it’s true that a picture is worth a thousand words, and yet I’d like to think that he didn’t see her. I’m pretty naive, however, and am just trying (unsuccessfully) to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Excellent job of analyzing! Dan Abrams on MSNBC news was talking about this picture last night and said that the Obama campaign changed their story about this picture from Obama did not know what was going on to he DID in fact snub Hillary Clinton because he did not want to rub it in Hillary’s face that he was with Ted Kennedy. Oh Please! He lied about it in the first place and then changes his story. Then he changes his mind about illegal immigration and says he thinks they should get drivers license now just to get votes? Wow, you did one heck of a job on this one of picking this up.

The disrespecting the flag photo is questioned and now we get this. All this analysis of PICTURES of Obama leads me to believe some people don’t like the way he looks.
